In the east of Vienna we designed for a private contractor an accessible residence with fifteen appartments along with an underground garage. The backyard is greened and used by the inhabitants of the three appartments located downstairs.The main material timber and a sustainable heating system were main issues in our concept.
The construction overground is build in timber construction. The material timber is core issue. For heating the project a wood chip heating system is going to be built near the garage. This will also support the neighbour house. All appartments are exposed to the garden and the street. With their balconies the inhabitants will have free sight to the widely garden.
