They are at a height of 28.40 meters. Smaller are ladies’ bicycles, newly planted trees, combination vehicles, red and yellow gummy bears, wine from Jerusalem, packages from the post office, and we, of course. Larger are the pointed St. Stephen’s, the round Karl, the vain City Hall, the Votiv twins, and the tower she finds so beautiful. At this height, the garden is in the north. A woman in a sleeveless dress, three riders, and a shark tank are always there. And the crystals that glow against a golden background give them the feeling of being at home here. [Text Library C. Intervista]
Two close-knit families have made their dream home a reality here, with both apartments offering a stunning panoramic view. This panorama was made possible by the cleverly arranged openings that guide the eye toward the surrounding Viennese landmarks. The originally minimal attic space was maximized.
This optimal use of space was achieved by partially adding a second level for the spacious rooftop garden and an office. The upper areas are accessible via a light white steel staircase. Additionally, the sense of spaciousness is enhanced by an open-plan living area, combined with the kitchen and the through-going staircase. Flexible room partitions are possible thanks to the chosen construction.
