Two vertically stacked apartments were combined into a spacious single dwelling. At the heart of the renovation is a sculptural staircase in bold red, connecting all levels and becoming the central architectural feature. Minimal interventions, the redesign of the terraces, and the combination of oak, concrete, and red artworks create intriguing visual connections between interior and exterior, giving the home a clear and atmospheric identity.
Building on existing structures – The conscious decision to utilize the existing structure conserves resources, minimizes land sealing, and preserves the established fabric.
A monolithic exposed concrete cube combines living and working. The introverted house opens to the garden with terraces and glass surfaces. Inside, concrete meets warm materials.
