Due to city planning tasks and the location in the inner city area of Graz the building spreads out along the plot border in a compact volume. In terms of traffic and demands of the fire department open spaces and greens to the public space is impossible.Thus we shift these areas into the building.
There atria and attractive open spaces sturcure the volumes and function as natural lighting and transverse vetnilation. In oder to accomplish the ecological tasks facades and construction are made of recycling aluminium, solid timber and ÖKO concrete.
